Jiang Ye Chapter 56

Chapter 56

There is a change: rain-listening building has been changed to ‘pavilion’, which we were trying to avoid since it may be confusing if there was a pavilion inside of Spring Wind Pavilion, but unfortunately from the architectural standpoint, the building discussed would be in the West called a ‘pavilion’.

‘Pavilion’ is used for any building that’s stand-alone within a property for a specific purpose. The Chinese reads ‘building’ but doesn’t have the lackadaisical connotation as it does in English.

There’s a real Spring Wind Pavilion in Hong Kong! Btw, the sign is read from right to left.

raincurtain

And a random ‘rain curtain’ for your viewing pleasure! Nifty :3
